He has starred in a commercial for GAP. He has starred in “Wanted” with Angelina Jolie, “Smoking Aces” with Jeremy Piven, “American Gangster” with Denzel Washington, and many other films. COMMON has a lead role in “Terminator 4” opposite Christian Bale. His last album was produced by Kanye West. COMMON represents an intelligent, mass-appeal style of music and social awareness.

How to Enter:
Contest begins at Friday, February 27, 2009, 5:00 p.m. and ends Friday, March 27, 2009, at 12:00 noon.
Be the 18th caller when Wired 96.5 announces the contest on the air. The 18th caller (or the next caller should the 18th be ineligible) will win the prize.
Eligibility:
This contest is open to any resident of the eight-county greater Philadelphia area, 21 years or older.
Employees of WRDW-FM/Beasley FM Acquisition Corp., its parent corporation, their affiliated entities, affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Greater Philadelphia area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win.
Prize:
Two (2) admissions to the Wired 96.5 Common concert Friday, March 27, 2009 at The Deck in Philadelphia. Bonus Prize: Winners who are members of the Wired 96.5 P1 Online Club at time of winning will receive four (4) admissions.
All winners and all guests must be at least 21 years old to attend. Admittance at venue is first come, first served and admission is not guaranteed.
Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged and have no cash redemption value. No cash or other prize shall be offered should the winner be unable to attend or should the event be postponed or canceled. Wired 96.5 reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value should conditions warrant at Wired 96.5 discretion. Estimated retail value of prize is $100.00. Estimated retail value of bonus prize is $200.00.
Prizes must be picked up at the WRDW-FM studios, 555 City Line Avenue, Suite 330, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, during regular business hours. Prizes must be claimed by Friday, March 27, 2009, at 5:00pm. Failure to claim prize by specified time will result in forfeiture of the prize. Prizes may be mailed upon request at WRDW’s discretion. WRDW is not responsible for any prizes lost or stolen after mailing or for certificates lost or stolen after the winner has claimed them from the station. Winners must be prepared to show a valid, government-issued ID and complete a Prize Release form to receive a prize.
Unless otherwise noted an individual is permitted to win one prize per 90 day period and one major prize (cash or merchandise valued at $1,000 and over) per calendar year. Excepting regular daily features, only one winner per household is permitted to participate in an individual contest.
Conditions:
WRDW is not responsible for callers lost or disconnected before completing his or her prize claim. When a caller is lost or disconnected prior to broadcast, WRDW can, at its discretion, will select the next eligible caller received to win/participate. WRDW is not responsible for any lost connections, miscommunications, failed computer or telephone transmissions, equipment or other technical failure or service interruptions. The station is not responsible for any carrier or server delays or failures.
Winners will agree to hold WRDW-FM, its corporate licensee, Beasley FM Acquisition Corp, its corporate parent, their affiliated companies and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
WRDW-FM cannot be held responsible for allegations of telephone malfunctions. In addition, WRDW-FM will be excused from its obligation to air the contest if its performance is delayed or prevented due to causes beyond its control, including, but not limited to acts of God, public enemies, war, civil disorder, fire, flood, hurricanes, explosion, labor disputes or strikes, and any acts by any governmental authority.
WRDW/Beasley FM Acquisition Corp, its corporate licensee and parent corporation and subsidiaries of such corporations thereof, are not responsible for failure to conduct or for alterations to the contest due to circumstances beyond the control of any such entity.
Wired 96.5 WRDW-FM reserves the right to end this contest or amend these rules upon announcement or publication at wired965.com.
Taxes and Liability: Unless otherwise noted winners are responsible for any and all taxes which may be due or which may become due from accepting the prize. Contest winnings will be reported to the Internal Revenue Service and winners can expect to receive a 1099 tax form for prizes which total more than $600 for the year.
Prizes are awarded ‘as is’ with no guarantees or warranties as to use. Acceptance of a prize releases WRDW, its sponsors and advertisers from all liability and claims concerning the prize, its delivery, and its use. A signed 'Prize Release' acknowledging this release, acceptance of the prize as ‘as is’ and any tax liability may be required as a condition of the winner receiving the prize at WRDW's discretion.
Release: Winners grant WRDW and its contest sponsors the right to use his/her name, image, recorded voice and photograph to publicize the contest and the awarding of the prize, but not to advertise the sponsors and their services. By participating in a WRDW on-air contest, callers are presumed to grant the station permission the use of his/her name and recorded voice.
Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification, at the sole discretion of WRDW-FM.
WRDW-FM is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.
All decisions by station management are final.
No purchase of any kind is necessary to win. Contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws. Void where prohibited.
